   We are proudly a Branch of the Sporting Shooters Association of Australia.

   We have a “limited danger” range, and are 54 kms. from Gympie in Queensland. We engage in the   
   following disciplines:

   Air Pistol and Rifle:

   Normally held on Wednesday night

   Archery:

   Field Archery is a very new edition to our branch, and is very much up and running. We look forward to promoting the
   archery discipline in the near future.

   We at Tin Can Bay, are all dedicated to promoting our sport, and have qualified Safety/Range Officers available
   on regular shoot days. Some Branch rimfire, air, and shotgun firearms are available for new enthusiasts
   to try, however, access to our range is by appointment only apart from scheduled calendar events when Range
   Officers are on site.  No person is allowed on our property without prior permission, and nobody is allowed to
   use firearms on our range without a qualified Range Officer in attendance. We request that you phone if you wish
   to attend any of the events listed, or have any questions regarding use of firearms on our range.

   We also hold regular Safety Courses for those who wish to attain a firearms licence and enquiries should be
   directed to Ted on 5486 4135 or Gordon on 5486 5208 to make appointments to attend.

   Enclosed footwear is mandatory, and all those planning to attend regular events will need to be at the
   range at least 30 minutes prior to starting time in order to complete necessary paperwork and to sight in
   firearms.  Eye and ear protection is also mandatory for all centrefire events.
